Melissa’s journey with digital marketing started with an interest in helping people learn how to troubleshoot the technology and software they use every day. She discovered that integrating SEO best practices directly into the content she was working on was the key to driving more traffic and engagement her client’s way. From there, she made learning everything possible about SEO and how it could be written into content her top priority.

She understands that without great content, digital marketing often falls by the wayside and is excited to find new ways to leverage content for client success. She’s pioneered Altitude’s influencer outreach platform based on years of experience earning links and working with clients to find the best ways to leverage their authority through content.

Her experience ranges from writing for tech giants such as Microsoft and Samsung, writing about RV travel for TripSavvy (formerly About.com), and being regularly asked to evaluate products for big name brands, such as Otterbox and Huawei. She’s spoken at events about all things content marketing and SEO, most recently at Mini-BACon for Boarding Area.

Melissa grew up in San Diego and loves playing video games, going to baseball games, and dancing the night away at as many concerts as she can go to in her free time.
